10-Day Alaskan Cruise - Juneau

It was a really rainy stop in Juneau. We took the short shuttle to the downtown area where there were shops we meandered in and out of. We saw an eagle and some deer which was cool. There were several waterfalls coming down the mountain, and none of the pictures came out, thank you rain and fog!

The crew we were with were looking for the famous Duck Fart at the Red Dog Saloon. So was everyone else evidentially, because the line was way too long. As we walked further, I found the Crab Fart at the oldest bar in Juneau, The Alaskan Bar and Hotel. It's a shot made up of Kahlua, Baileys, and Sailor Jerry. Tasty, but hard to drink as a shot for me, as you can see. But I did it!

 
And well, there was a punch card where you could earn bragging rights for having 5 shots at various bars: 

  • Crab Fart at the Alaskan Bar and Hotel Kahlua, Baileys, and Sailor Jerry 
  • Bear Fart at the Griz Bar Kahlua, Irish Cream, Blueberry Vodka
  • Duck Fart at the Lucky Lady Irish Pub Kahlua, Irish Cream, Whisky
  • Whale Fart at the Triangle Bar Irish Cream, Kahlua, Peanut Butter Whisky
  • Eagle Fart at the Imperial Bar Irish Cream, Kahlua, Vodka

Myself, I could only handle 2 farts. The group I was with however - they had tougher stomachs and went to all 5.

It was a fun way to warm us up on a cold, rainy afternoon in AK!
